Fine Cut & Long Cut

Once the fermentation process is finished, the tobacco is drained of the fermenting solution and cut. In the case of the Fine Cut, the tobacco is cut into very small strips then cross cut into fine pieces. Long Cut is cut in the same manner with the final pieces being about twice as long as the fine cuts. To use them, the most common method is to take a good pinch and insert in in the lower lip, between the lip and gums. There, the Nicotine is transferred into the blood stream via the mucous membranes in the lip and gums. While the traditional way is to place the pinch in the back of the lower cheek, next to the gums, the first way is what most people are using but, the decision is yours.
