Unique Processes |

The smoke and fermentation processes are unique to American smokeless tobacco and are what gives it it’s distinct flavors. The fermentation process begins with taking the freshly smoked tobacco leaves and placing them in wooden barrels with water, sweeteners and, in the case of Wintergreen, flavorings. Then the tobacco is allowed to ferment for anywhere between 6 months to a year so the tobacco can absorb the flavorings and marry together. |
